The first major project in my architecture career, the Tea House project captures the essence of the traditional Japanese tea ceremony and brings it to South Moorhead. Being a semester long project, the Tea House taught me much about the design process and the hard work that comes with it. I developed patience with myself and my design, as well as a strong sense of detail and precision. Many hours were spent trying to make my design fit its program, but also stand out with its simplicity and attention to detail.
